Lukashenka’s Press-Service Doesn’t Dare To Take Pictures Of Workers’ Faces

After the famous photograph with stern faces of MAZ workers at the meeting with Lukashenka, the dictator’ photographer makes pictures of workers only from the back.

On May 28, Lukashenka visited JSC Amkodor-Pinsk. Looking at photos of the visit, published on the “presidential” site and on the site BelTA, charter97.org noticed that all the company employee photographs are taken from the back. There are blow-ups of officials and Lukashenka, but ordinary Amkodor workers are standing with their backs to us.

As the website charter97.org previously reported, in early April, Sviatlana Kalinkina’s article about Lukashenka’s visit to MAZ got resonance among the media. The journalist drew attention to the people’s faces, that were far from expressing admiration with the dictator’s speech.

“Ten years ago meetings with the “president” were full of ecstasy. They are no longer the same. When Lukashenka was talking, the crowd was nodding in support. When he was saying a joke – all the present people were laughing together. When he was promising something – he was truly believed. Look at these people. Stern, embittered silence. Take anyone – you’ll see that emotion”, – Kalinkina wrote in her article.

It is not likely, that the workers’ faces of unprofitable Amkodor-Pinsk were any friendlier than their MAZ colleagues’ ones.
