Russia Wants To Build One More Nuclear Reactor In Belarus

A project of a nuclear research reactor construction is already on the stage of preparation for signing.

Russia is ready to build nuclear research reactors in Belarus and Tanzania, Rosatom head Sergei Kirienko said.

“Projects in Belarus and Tanzania are in the process of (preparation) for signing,” – Kirienko said at Atomexpo-2016 forum.

Kirienko noted that construction of low-power nuclear reactors belonging to nuclear sciences and technologies centers is a part of Rosatom’s package proposal to the countries which plan to develop nuclear power industry, ria.ru writes.
