The dictator watched the beauty contest “Miss Belarus-2016” finals in the company of beautiful girls.
The tut.by journalists found out who sat rightwards of Lukashenka, and who – leftwards.
During his speech on stage, the dictator confessed that he had come to the Palace of Sports to attend the beauty contest “Miss Belarus-2016” “to show respect to our beautiful women”. “— I would even say more — to make a declaration of my love to all of you. As our women are precious pearls in the necklace of the Belarusian nation,”— Aliaksandr Lukashenka added.
He greeted the participants of the contest, expressed his sympathy to the jury, who had to choose the beauty of the beauties, and said that, in his opinion, all the girls should be winners.
Host of the “Belarusian TV and Radio Company” Palina Shuba was sitting leftwards of Lukashenka. Over 10 years ago, 12-year-old Palina gave flowers to Aliaksandr Lukashenka at the opening ceremony of the Palace of Culture in the town of Staryja Darohi. In 2011, the girl graduated the Belarusian State Trade University with a specialty “economist-marketing consultant in the wood processing industry”, having combined her studies with the work in the modeling agency. In 2008, Palina Shuba was noticed among the finalists of the beauty contest “Miss Belarus”. Then her career included television and the service in the protocol of Lukashenka. In 2015, the girl married Minsker Valery Shapchyts.
According to the TV-host, she had worked in the service of Lukashenka’s business protocol for “literally half a year”. “I don’t understand where such interest to my personality comes from. I just happened to sit beside Lukashenka at an ice hockey game in 2014,”— Palina has said.
Actress of the Kupala Theatre, singer Marta Holubeva was sitting rightwards of Lukashenka in the audience.
In 2008, Marta Holubeva danced beside Lukashenka at the festive concert on the Independence Day on July 3. The girl was 18 then. She performed in the “Verasy” band, and graduated the theatrical faculty of the Academy of Arts in 2012. She has worked in the Kupala Theatre since then.
They explained to Euroradio in the press-center of Lukashenka, that the decision on who will sit next to the state leader at an event is taken by the service of the president’s protocol together with the event’s organizers and the relevant agency. The choice depends on the format: a person sitting next to the head of the state must be able to tell something about the theme of the event. This is probably the only rule, the press-center then said. As for the journeys around the enterprises, Lukashenka is usually accompanied by officials and economic executives.
