On Whose Account Do Officials Feast?

Hrodna anarchists decided to remind the people of the city, on whose account officials feast in time of plague.

Activists of the anarchist movement are the authors of the graffiti, which photos were posted on the Internet yesterday.

New photos and the matter for the rally were published on the revbel.org site:

“At the time, when unemployment is gaining momentum across the country, workers are being made redundant and left high and dry, at the time, when insane laws, taxes and amendments, leading to the legal slavery, are being introduced, when prices are rising exponentially, at this time the authorities are holding parades and lifting up their spirits for our money. There are kilometers of ruined asphalt and thousands of liters of fuel, paid out of our wallets. They were hoping for large audience and that their ostentatious parades would boost everyone’s patriotic spirits. But no such luck.

Light rain dashed the ruling elite’s grandiose plans. As the result, the two city squares were empty, as well as the central park, stuffed tables, chairs and scenes. There were a hundred times more policemen, who were guarding the perimeter of the event, than the “patriots,” even BRYU members weren’t there.
