Organizer Of Tactical Group “Belarus” Died In Donbass A Year Ago

Ukrainian Vitaliy Tilizhenko died during a tank attack of the pro-Russian assailants near Volnovakha, Ukraine.

He helped to organize the tactical group “Belarus”, defended the Euromaidan, was a voluntary soldier of the ATO, BelSAT TV-channel reports.

36-year-old Vitaliy Tilizhenko died when his battalion rushed to help the military men, which had got under the assailants’ fire.

The new documentary “Ukraine. Current War Realms”, directed by Anton Telezhnikov, dedicated to the anniversary of Vitaliy’s death, was shown in Kyiv today in the framework of the museum project “Historical Cinema Club”.

We remind, in February Vitaliy Tilizhenko was posthumously awarded the medal "The Kyiv Resident Hero”. Homel native Mikhal Zhyzneuski, who died in Institutska Street during the revolution of 2014, and the Belarusian Volunteer Ales Charkashyn, were also awarded.
