Session of Rada Of BNC Held In Minsk

A regular meeting of Rada of the Belarusian National Congress (BNC) was held in Minsk on 16 September.

The co-chairman of the Rada of the BNC Mikalai Statkevich reported on the session on Facebook.

“Under a very professional chairmanship of the head of the Democratic coalition of Orsha region Vasil Berasneu, we have discussed the progress and the results of the “election” campaign, have decided on our next actions, and also created an international commission of Rada and have elected the leader of the civil campaign “European Belarus” Andrei Sannikov its chairman.

It was very interesting to learn the analysis of the “elections”, made by the leaders of the democratic coalition Berasneu, Ales Yauseenka from Homel region, Yury Lyashenka from Svetlahorsk region, Anatol Bukas from Barysau region, Yauhen Parchynski from Polatsk region, Viktar Marchyk (instead of the ill Ivan Sheha) from the coalition of the Slonim region, the leader of the REP Trade Union Henadz Fedynich, who had worked in the democratic observation campaign during the “elections”. The conclusion made by the colleagues is unanimous – “election” failed in their regions, the voter turnout was significantly less than 50%.”
