Minsk Resident Holds One-Person Picket At House Of Government

An administrative offence charge has been made against the resident of Minsk who tried to get to the appointment of the Prosecutor General.

On September 16, a 51-year-old unemployed resident of Minsk was standing in front of the House of Government (Savetskaya Street, 11), holding a poster “HELP”. He clarified that his actions were aimed at turning attention to himself: the man was trying to see the Prosecutor General, which he was refused due to “objective reasons”, informs the press-center of the city administration for internal affairs of Minsk city executive committee.

At present moment, an administrative offence charge was made against the citizen under part 1 Article 23.34 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus (disobedience to the legal order or demand of an official performing their duties). According to this article, the man faces a fine for the sum of up to 50 base fees (Bn 1015), or an administrative detention.
