Belarusian military men with support of educational and auxiliary command point of the General Staff hold a bilateral command-and-control military game on issues relating to promotion of the most appropriate ways to manage troops in the course of defensive operations, the press-service of the Defence Ministry informs.
Command-and-control military game is being held on January 9-13 and in accordance with the training schedule of the Armed Forces for 2016/2017 under the supervision of the Chief of the General staff of the Armed Forces, first Deputy Minister of Defence, Brigadier-General Aleh Belakoneu.
The primary objective of the war game is to check ability and willingness of officials to take appropriate and timely decisions, manage troops while performing combat tasks in difficult circumstances.
"Given a significant scientific component higher-education teaching personnel of the Military Academy is involved as well. This is primarily conditioned by Lukashenka's demand to improve and adapt to the realities of the military personnel training system during inspection of professional training level of officers in October, 2016 the statement points out.
