Lukashenka Dismissed His Classmate

First Deputy Minister of Sport Aliaksandr Hahiyeu has been dismissed.

According to Pressball, Aliaksandr Hahiyeu has been dismissed from the post of the First Deputy Minister of Sport and Tourism of Belarus.

The position has been taken by Viachaslau Durnou. In 2015 Durnou filled the post of the chairman of the Navapolatsk "council of deputies".

40-year-old Aliaksandr Hahiyeu was born on December 22, 1976, in the village of Balshaya Maschanitsa in Bialynichy district, Mahiliou region.

In 1993-1997 he studied at the Mahiliou State Pedagogical Institute named after Kuliashou, the one which Lukashenka has graduated from.

He took the post of the First Deputy Minister of Sport in 2013. From 2003 to 2012 he worked as the Deputy Head of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Mahiliou Region Executive Committee. In 2012-2013 he was the Head of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Mahiliou Region Executive Committee.

Aliaksandr Hahiyeu wasthe Belarusian mission chief at the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro.

It is to be recalled that in late 2016 Lukashenka dismissed the head and deputy head of his administration, the head of State Border, the chief bodyguard, and arranged a large-scale reshuffle in the government.
