Ain't it strange how it turns out: Zhadobin and Maltsau are not good enough for their age, and age is no disqualification for Lukashenka and Siamashka?

Leanid Maltsau retired quietly and almost notelessly.

He became Minister of Defense more than 20 years ago. Then he also worked at the Security Council and the State Border Committee. And then he retired "according to age."

And how old is he? 67 years old... Yes, thank you for your service, and it's really time to relax, Salidarnasts journalist Kanstantsin Paholchyk writes.

And he, perhaps, stayed for too long. Two years ago, Defense Minister Yury Zhadobin was dismissed "according to age" when he was only 60. But still it is logical: the world is changing rapidly, people change, new technologies come, new approaches are needed, the Soviet training is of no good here. You will not go far with the concept of "the dollar has collapsed".

Viktar Kisly is 40 years old and he’s a dollar billionaire, having started from scratch. He has found his way in the modern world, meeting the new requirements.

Like it or not, one has to possess outstanding personal qualities to keep such a position, as Maltsau, being 67. Even a young man might not enough time to do everything, and when you are seventy ...

Although, wait, please. Vice Prime Minister Uladzimir Siamashka are also 67. Minister of Economy Uladximir Zinouski is 61. And they rule the Belarusian economy somehow. However, we see how they rule – one failure follows another.

And it’s not surprising that they are at the office – their boss is already 62. And sometimes it seems that he is much older: it will just suffice to mention the struggle against "parasites" "in the name of revolution," which he has started.

Ain't it strange how it turns out: Zhadobin and Maltsau are not good enough for their age, and Lukashenka and Siamashka appear to be in the prime of life?
