Belarus Raises Export Duties For Oil, Oil Products

The duties will be raised already since February 1.

Since February 1, 2017 Belarus increases export duties on oil and oil products exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. The relevant decision is contained in the Council of Ministers’ resolution #75 dated January 26, 2017, BelTA informs.

The rate of the export duty on crude oil will be increased from $ 79,1do $ 89,5 per 1 ton. The duty on straight-run gasoline will increase from $ 43,5 to $ 49,2, and the duty on commercial gasoline will grow from $ 23,7 to $ 26,8 per 1 ton.

The duty on light, medium distillates will be $ 26,8 per 1 ton (it was $ 23,7). The same duty is set in respect of diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylenes, lubricating and other oils. For the last time, the rates of the export customs duties on crude oil and certain categories of goods produced from oil changed on January 1st. Then they were decreased.
