Yesterday, the March of Disgruntled Belarusians 2.0 against the tax on "parasites" and hazing in the army was held in Minsk.

A young man at Kastrychnitskaya Square explained why he had come to the rally:

"The main demand of the rally is to cancel Decree No. 3. But I think that this is not the most important thing. The Decree is just the course of nature for Belarus. If we cancel the third one – they will issue the fourth, fifth, sixth ones. We must to expand the space of freedom. Let people watch us, let people join us.

Why are we afraid of something? We must take to the streets. Of course, we are all just human beings under our skins. At that, it is nothing but unproductive to be afraid.

I'm here to let people see what's happening in the country. That there are those who go to the Square without fear, that we want freedom. One of the problems in the country is the army. I do not like in general the way the Belarusian army is organized. But this is not only the army – it's the system itself. It is necessary to change not the army, but the system itself, first of all."
