Expenses Of Belarusian Car Owners Grew Almost Six-Fold In A Year

In Belarus, the maintenance of the car costs a pretty sum.

As ecopress.by was told in the press-center of the company "Yandex.Money", in order to find out how much the residents of our country spend on average for the maintenance of their cars, the service studied the payments of car owners at the service stations, car washes, gas stations and in the spare parts stores.

Offline, people paid for goods and services with Yandex.Money cards, online — via the Yandex.Kassa.

It turned out that in the last 12 months the expenses of car owners from Belarus increased by 5.7 times in total. If you look at the categories, spending on auto parts increased the most — by 4.3 times.

For the year, the average check of Belarusian drivers for gasoline also increased — from Bn 24 to Bn 26 (here and further at the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation as of 03.10.2017).

However, car owners seem to prefer to save on the car wash and maintenance: in the first case, the average payment decreased from Bn 17.9 to Bn 14.9, in the second — from Bn 19.9 to Bn 19.6.

Despite the fact that as a whole people began to spend more on auto spare parts and accessories, the average check in this category also decreased — from Bn 61.2 to Bn 40.9.

The study took into account the payments made in the period from September 15, 2016 to September 15, 2017 and for the same period a year earlier.
