European Belarus Activist Leanid Kulakou Is At Large!

The activist left the detention center in Akrestsin Street after 10 days of arrest.

Maksim Viniarski, a coordinator of the European Belarus civil campaign, wrote about it on Facebook.

We remind that on September 10, European Belarus activist Leanid Kulakou was arrested for 10 days for taking part in the rally of solidarity with political prisoners that took place at Kastrychnitskaya Square of Minsk on June 22.

According to European Belarus activist Yulia Stsiapanava, Leanid Kulakou was called from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and offered to come to Akrestsina himself, as they "did not have a free car".

Leanid could hardly walk with a stick because of a knee injury received at that very detention center.

The activist was travelling with a sign "I'm a fare dodger, I'm travelling to prison" from his house to the detention center in Akrestsin Street.
