Aliaksandr Korzhych's Mother To Take Part In Some Investigative Actions

The Prosecutor General talked about his meeting with the mother of the soldier who died in Pechy.

Prosecutor General Aliaksandr Kaniuk told about the case of Aliaksandr Korzhych, who died in Pechy.

– I personally met with Korzhych's mother, we discussed that she would personally take part in some investigative actions, – the Prosecutor General told at the inter-ministerial conference on the fight against corruption, according to tut.by.

He did not disclose all the details of the criminal case, but noted that 15 criminal cases have already been opened, about the same number of people are involved in the case.

– I keep this case under constant control, the lawyer has a rule: no comments until the case is not considered. Sometimes everything can change to the contrary.

We remind, the body of the soldier Aliaksandr Korzhych was found on October 3 in Pechy. The Investigative Committee investigates several criminal cases, accusing the defendants of hazing, abuse of authority and fraud. In addition, the investigation finds out how the soldier died – he was found dead in the basement with a t-shirt wrapped around his head and with his laces tied. The investigators have three versions: suicide, forcible suicide and murder. After the tragedy, the leadership of the unit in Pechy was suspended.
