Aliaksandr Vianherski: I Will Not Attend First Court Meeting With BATE

A fan-patriot from Vileyka is proud of his act at the BATE-Arsenal match.

Aliaksandr Vianherski, who ran out onto the field with a white-red-white flag during the BATE-Arsenal match on September 28, is not going to appear at the first court hearing on his case on December 1. Earlier, the football club sued the fan to compensate a fine of 5 thousand euros, which UEFA imposed on Barysau players for his act, Euroradio writes.

Vianherski said on his Facebook page about his decision not to go to the court.

"I don't think it's worth going there, as it will be a preliminary meeting, which I will not attend, we will go there a little later! Long live!" – Aliaksandr wrote.

According to him, he does not have time for court hearings as he needs to earn money for the fine.

In BATE they say that the decision to recover money from Vianherski is educational in nature, so that the fans no longer run out on the field. They plan to spend the money on charity.

Also, a fan, who also ran out on the field during the match between BATE and Naftan, voluntarily reimbursed the club a fine of 1610 rubles imposed by the Belarusian Football Federation.
