‘European Belarus’ Activists Hold Picket ‘Rights Are Not Given, Rights Are Taken!”

Activists of the civil campaign "European Belarus" Maxim Viniarski and Leanid Kulakou held a picket on the occasion of World Human Rights Day:

"Rights are not given, rights are taken!” The picket on the occasion of the World Human Rights Day (celebrated on December 10 — the day of adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights) was held near the St. Peter and Paul Cathedral on Niamiha Street in Minsk. Several hundred copies of the newspaper Narodnaya Volya with the special issue "For Our and Your Rights" were distributed among the residents of the capital for free.

The special issue was devoted to the most topical issues that concerned Belarusian citizens this year: the problems of unemployment and social insecurity, forced labor, the decree on “social parasites”, the theme of political prisoners,” — coordinator of the civil campaign" European Belarus " Maxim Viniarski said.
