New Chief Of Lukashenka’s Personal Security Service Got Education Of Salesman At Vocational School

Dzmitry Shakhrayeu undertook an internship in a shop in Serabranka micro-district.

Leader of the Republican civil association “Perspective” Anatol Shumchanka reminded that he used to study together with the new head of Lukashenka’s security service Dzmitry Shakhrayeu back in1992-1993. After the 11th grade at school, they both entered the Minsk trade vocational school #222 to be educated as food salesmen, nn.by writes.

“There was an enormous contest: ten people per one place. There were only four guys in our group, all the rest were girls. Three guys were good friends, they stuck together. Shakhrayeu and I were among them,” — Shumchanka recalls.

Shakhrayeu is about 42 now, he is a native of Minsk. “Why did we go to study at the the Minsk trade vocational school? The USSR collapsed, there was the card system. A butcher seemed a very beneficial profession at this background. At least he is always besides meat. We took no interest in politics then, there were other issues on the agenda. Today, it’s fun to recall the times when we were interns in the shop in Serabranka. I stood behind the counter, Dzmitry cut meat,” — Shumchanka recalls.

“The turns of life are curious. See, we were groupmates. Dzmitry Shakhrayeu became the head of Lukashenka’s security service. I became the leader of the entrepreneurs, fighting against these authorities. The most interesting thing is that this is not the end of the story yet, everything may turn any way,” — the leader of the “Perspective” contemplates.

Shumchanka doesn’t know what Shakhrayeu’s destiny was like after the vocational school. “He was a very athletic guy, with a corresponding constitution. It was a wonderful time. We went to harvest potatoes together, played basketball.”
