Tax Inspectorate Goes To Schoolers

The children in all Belarusian schools will be told how to pay taxes.

Seventeen not-so-usual fairy-tales. The second edition of the book “On Taxes For Kids” has been published, it was said in the news on “24 Hours” on STV.

Through the adventures of a gingerhead girl Lily and her cat, the authors try to form the first concepts of finances and taxes in kids. The book will be distributed for free among the school pupils at the lessons of the tax literacy all over the country.

“Surely, we are not trying to teach the exact order of one or another payment to the budget, we are trying to teach the basis of the attitude towards payments to the budget, that this is a good and right thing to do. This is something to be proud of,” — Uladzimir Mukvich, Deputy Minister on Taxation and Dues of Belarus, believes.

The fairy-tales published back in 2015 are available here. They were dedicated to trash sorting, pensions and the consequences of the tax evasion.
