Brest Activist Asked Authorities Hundred Hard Questions

Vital Kazak constantly reminds officials of their positive obligations.

Brest activist Vital Kazak formulated one hundred questions to the local authorities and handed them over to the city executive committee, Radio Svaboda reports.

The list is formulated on the basis of what concerns the Brest residents most of all and where the officials are inactive.

"I have been collected these problems for two and a half years, and there are a lot of people in the city who have already heard about me," – Vital Kazak says.

– I hold the days of public awareness and meetings in the city districts, where I use a voice amplifier to get across to people the information from the authorities about certain issues, which the people have formulated and where they have put their signatures. Therefore, I have such experience, citizens know me. They always address me – not only via phone, but also they come to me, because they know where I live, or they invite me to visit them.

According to Vital Kazak, some Brest residents do not want to leave their personal data because later they can be pressured by the authorities. Therefore, they delegate the activist the opportunity to represent their interests.
