Belarusians Continue Spending Rainy Day Foreign Currency Funds

In January-November, Belarusians sold more currency than they bought.

This is evidenced by the statistical data of the National Bank, BelTA informs.

Since the beginning of the year, the population has sold cash and non-cash currency for $ 7.618 billion in equivalent, and bought – $ 5.818 billion. The net sales of foreign currency for individuals amounted to $ 1.8 billion.

In January-November, the business entities – residents of Belarus sold foreign currency for $ 16.469 billion in equivalent, bought – $ 17.153 billion.

During 11 months, the non-residents of Belarus sold currency for $ 479.09 million in equivalent, and bought – $ 193.34 million.
