An Unexpected Step of Zhemchuzhny in the Fight for His Rights

The political prisoner has obtained a trial of his jailers.

On December 8 the court of the Horki district will consider the complaint of the political prisoner Mikhail Zhemchuzhny against the first sanction imposed by the administration of the correctional facility No. 9 - five days in the remand prison, spring96.org informs.

The penalty was delivered in early August for refusing to transfer to another detachment.

At the moment it is known that the hearing starts at 14.30 and it is public; Mikhail Zhemchuzhny intended to file an application to the administration of the Horki correctional facility to ensure its participation in the hearing. It is not known whether the political prisoner is present at the hearing.

It will be recalled that the problems of Mikhail began after his transfer to the Horki correctional facility, where the administration created unbearable conditions.

As of the late November he had 11 penalties, most of them involved punitive confinement on various terms and the placement in a ward for a month. On October 24 there should have been the court hearing on transfer of the political prisoner to a prison, but on the eve of the hearing the administration withdrew its production.

The political prisoner is going to appeal against all the penalties delivered by the Horki administration.
