Brutto on Concert in Brest: We Were Welcomed, Thank You!

A legendary band had a triumphal concert at the Brest Ice Palace.

It took place on February 11, the Palace was full of guests, tut.by informs.

Siarhei Mikhalok and his band arrived from Baranavichy they had performed the day before. As expected all tickets were sold out. The dance floor and central sectors were filled with people.

Brutto was welcomed in Brest. The dance floor activated from the very beginning. Every song was sung with the band. In the beginning the dance floor was hit by the youth, and when Lyapis songs started older audience joined them.

- We have been waiting for Mikhalok's concerts in Belarus for so long and could not but go there in Brest! Brest dwellers Uladzimir and Mikalai told kp.by. - We have a dream - music festival with Brutto dedicated to the 1000th anniversary of Brest. That would be a thing in a big way!

More than a thousand people came to the concert on February 11. A lot of them were wearing branded t-shits. All together they shouted out with Mikhalok: "Who are we? - Brutto! - What do we want? - To make it cool!".

- Let's see the way Hurkou dance! girls were whispering trying to take a better look at Vital Hurkou who managed to combine both sports career and concerts.

In the beginning those people on stands intelligently sat, but as soon as song "Warriors of Light" began to play, they were signing it standing. And later they got relaxed, some people even joined the dance floor.

Between songs Mikhalok communicated with the audience mainly using jestures and his poems. He did not use ordinary "How are you today?" and "I can't hear you!" But "Thank you, Brest!" The audience responded with welcome whistling and long applause. Artists came to the stage one more time and sang "Prospero".

However, after the concert many confessed: The Ice Palace is an awful concert platform. No matter how hard artists tried to do sound, there was no chance for high-quality sound.

- The sound is not good... but the atmosphere, the energy! I would come one more time because of it! - Tatstsiana says.

Brutto brought Double Hot program, which involved the best tracks from albums Rodny Krai and Underdog, as well as gold hits of Lyapis Trubetskoy band for the last 10 years.

Musicians presented their songs in Ukraine, America, Europe and Homel. At home Lyapis Trubetskoy horn section joined Brutto and, of course, the band's sound became even louder and more interesting.
