Political Scientist: I See Many Signs of the Revolutionary Situation in Belarus

The authorities have almost lost control over processes in the country.

Political scientist Siarhei Nikalyuk informed Radio Svaboda:

- There are two moments. On the one hand, I can see many signs that form up the revolutionary situation. For example, the authorities have almost lost control over processes in the country. No objective connected with the economic development is fulfilled.

The authorities suffer a decline in their influence. And they themselves promote it. For example, an objective to make an average salary equal to $500. It implies salary increase by 35% compared to last year. No economy in the world is able to do it.
