Authorities Walking Into the Same Trap

Decree on "parasitism" has waken up the entire country. People are furious. Tax authorities are horrified. Officials do not know how to make excuses.

The treasury has not gained expected revenue from "the army of spongers". On the contrary, it wasted money on lists of "spongers", notices, correspondence, papers. In addition to losses - financial and reputation ones - the document turned to be useless. And it's time to wonder "How are decisions made that, in fact, turn into catastrophe waiting to happen with a notorious Belarusian stability?"

We know the answer about this decree. Lukashenka himself told. Head of ONT TV channel Ryhory Kisel brought him "war tides". People are dissatisfied that spongers are around, do nothing, do not pay taxes.

"We'll make them pay!", Lukashenka said. Nice talk. Ready, steady, go!

But Kisel failed to inform that the country missed jobs. The industry has been ruined. Small entrepreneurship is chopped to bits. In most cases salaries are miserable. They are not even salaries but allowances for poverty. The entire regions have faced poverty.

Why should Kisel tell the truth and bite hand that feeds him? He did not tell about it, of course.

As well as others. They do not care at all what to do: they just do what is said. No one will be liable for failure to inform, foresee. That is why our state machine slips and does not move.

Although, everyone knows that Lukashenka may invent everything and believe in every fairy tale in his residence. The country should have a mechanism that rejects harmful decisions. Not to let the documents appear that work AGAINST us. Decisions which insult and disturb people.

There are a lot of such examples. We are walking in the same trap again and again. Let's recall cases with entrepreneurs, endless reforms in education, modernization which resulted in losses and debts... And all these joined projects that now are a disaster. This endless control. How many years have we printed this empty money trying to cheat fate?

This is a complete failure. And we jumped into the trap. And keep doing it.
