Blogger Maksim Filippovich: I'm Proud Of Homel Dwellers

The Outraged Belarusians March in Homel has become the most numerous one among all the actions which were held in regional centers.

Thousands people came to the central square of the city. The demand to abolish decree №3 has transformed into a total dissatisfaction with the situation in the country and it made it possible to speak out against it. For many participants of the March it was an act of despair, the result of the absence of jobs and lack of money for living. Outraged Belarusians Marches were held in all regional centers of Belarus.

One of the organizers of the March in Homel, the blogger Maksim Filippovich shared his impression from the action of February 19 with Belsat:

– I was glad to see that there were many people of retirement age. Previously, people tried not to participate in such events, but now there were so many of them. They spoke out everything they wanted. They were saying that they were not going to keep silence any longer. They were saying that previously they had voted "for", but now their eyes were opened.

People no longer want to live in powerlessness and poverty, and to endure accusations that they are to blame of everything.

People have stopped their kitchen talks and are ready to speak out. We must unite and encourage people not to be afraid to tell the truth.
