After several protests of workers of the Slonim Winery branch, the Open Joint Stock Company Dziatlava liquor enterprise Alhona, on February 21, at the end of the day there was a meeting of the employees with director Valery Huzen. The meeting was also visited by the Deputy Chairman of the Slonim district executive committee Uladzislau Hershhoryn, Radio Racyja reports

Valery Huzen said that workers' wages had been reduced not by him personally, but by the branch’s administration. The director noted that a lot of complications started up after The Slonim winery was allied to theDziatlava liquor enterprise Alhona. According to Valery Huzen, the problems were particularly acute for the Slonim branch, especially with the sales of products, the equipment in the workshops, salaries. But all of these issues, according to the director, would gradually be resolved positively.

According to the workers of the Slonim Winery, they were pleased with the meeting with the director and the people started to hope for the best.

We remind that last week Slonim winery workers of the shop floor № 1 went on strike, they received salaries by 70-90 rubles less than before. The storekeepers, loaders and drivers of the branch were also dissatisfied with the salaries.
