Justice Ministry of Ukraine: Permission to enter Belarus by DNR and LNR documents – flirting with Russia

The dictator in Belarus is in a complicated political situation.

Permission to enter Belarus with the documents issued by the self-proclaimed LNR and DNR is Minsk's flirting with Moscow, said First Deputy of the Minister of Justice Natalia Sevostyanova in the broadcast of the 112 Ukraine channel.

– We understand that it's more politics than law. There has been a difficult political situation in Belarus during the last years, most recently we can observe flirting with the Russian Federation, and here are the results.

On the one hand there is a statement in which we say that these republics are really self-proclaimed and we do not recognize their documents, but, in order to somehow play into the hands of Russia, we reserve the possibility to individually adjust the opportunity to cross the border.

The Ministry of Justice believes that this is uncivilized from a legal point of view.

– We understand that not a single country in the world will allow to cross its border in a mode where a border guard determines what is your life situation, – Sevostyanova said.

We remind, on February 18, Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the recognition of documents

issued to Ukrainian citizens and persons without citizenship residing on the territory of DNR and LNR by Russia.

February 22 the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs explained that the country can let to enter it's territory by a passport issued in DNR or LNR "depending on the situation in life."
