Yury Chyzh Quits Position Of ‘Triple’ General Manager

The businessman headed the company that he had founded for about 25 years.

Belarusian businessman Yury Chyzh has left the position of the General Manager at LLC “Triple”. His elder son Siarhei Chyzh heads the company now, tut.by reports with a reference to naviny.by.

The journalists found out that January 31 was Yury Chyzh’s last working day as General Manager of “Triple”. The businessman headed the company that he had founded for about 25 years. Since February 1, Siarhei Chyzh officially headed the company after fulfillment of the General Manager’s duties at the time of his father’s arrest.

“I didn’t go anywhere far. I stayed in the company. We carried out some structural amendments. Some little relocation. I am heading the Supervisory Board now,”— Yury Chyzh has told.

Alongside with that, as the “Triple” administration clarifies, Yury Chyzh has not been officially approved for the post of a Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

“So far, he has remained at the position of the Deputy General Manager of the “Triple” company. After we hold the portback election meeting and rubberstamp this, he will become the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. It hasn’t been officially signed yet, but it will happen in any case,” — they say in the company.

At the same time, Yury Chyzh remains the main owner of the “Triple”. He owns 66,5% of the statutory fund of the company. Honored Master of Sports, President of the Russian Wrestling Federation Mikhail Mamiashvili and Russian businessman and philanthropist Joseph Aksent'ev (Anzori Kikalishvili) own 16,75% each.

They received their shares in "Triple" in August 2015 in exchange for the debts of Kazbek Yapryntsau, from his father Uladzimir Yapryntsau. Before that, Yapryntsau Senior owned 33,5% of the “Triple” statutory fund.

In three months after the trial, Uladzimir Yapryntsau stated he would not return his share in “Triple”. He broke all relations with Yury Chyzh and doesn’t reckon him as his friend anymore.

The company "Triple" was founded in 1992. Initially, the main activity of the company was wholesale trade of industrial goods and food. Now it is a multi-profiled business.

The structural units of "Triple" are the ski sports complex "Lahoisk", the agricultural complex "Triple-Agro" in Lahoisk district, the ice arena in Biaroza, Brest region, the wellness club and restaurant EVO La Crête d'Or in Minsk. The company also is the developer of the residential complex "At Troitsky".

In addition, the LLC "Triple" has shares in the statutory funds of several companies: JV "Triple-Decor", JV "AquaTriple", and JSC "FC Dinamo-Minsk".

The group of companies also includes JSC "Berezovsky complex of silicate products" and CJSC "QuartzMelProm", the hypermarket chain ProStore (CJSC "Prostor-Trade") and JV "TriplePharm".
