Clamorous Rally In Brest: "Basta!"

After the first spontaneous meeting, which was held last Sunday, today, on 26 February, more people came out to Lenin Square in Brest.

According to various estimates, there were 200 - 300 people there. As the columns were moving around the city, new people joined them, there were about 100-150 people in the square itself, Virtual Brest wrote.

The whole event took less than an hour, the people pasted poster with the words "Basta!" on the executive committee building and moved towards Savietskaya street. It became known about the march from social networks on its eve, however, following last Sunday’s example, people knew – the place of the meeting could not be changed, as well as the time.

The March finished near the cinema "Belarus", nothing has been reported on the detentions, the police didn’t come out, though the order was certainly observed from afar. A random police officer, who suddenly found himself in the thick of things in the square, chose not to aggravate the situation, and left the event.

It may be noted that, unlike the last one, the rally was well organized.
