This includes 4.7 million tons of oil (8.4% growth) which were supplied to the CIS countries (mainly Russia and Ukraine), and 8.3 million tons (33.5% reduction) supplied to non-CIS countries . The average contract price of export of petroleum products was $ 311 per 1 ton (22.8% reduction), including those supplied to the CIS countries - $ 402 per 1 ton (20% reduction), and to the far abroad countries - $ 260 per 1 ton (29.5% reduction) .

Belarus has imported 1 million 718.7 thousand tons of oil products (4% growth) at an average price of $ 329 per 1 ton (6.3% growth) over the past year. Almost the entire volume of imports was from the CIS countries.

Import of Russian natural gas decreased by 0.8% - down to 18.6 billion cubic meters, the price fell by 5.4% to $ 137 per 1 thousand cubic meters.

In monetary expression, exports of energy products from Belarus decreased by 38.7% – down to $ 4 billion 611.5 million in 2016, imports - by 20% down to $ 7 billion 296.7 million. Thus, there was a deficit of $ 2 billion 685.2 million in the energy trading in the past year.
