Belarusian Popular Front chairman Zianon Pazniak referred to a BT TV program as a lie.

On Sunday, the key theme of the BT propaganda program "The Main Air" was the Decree No. 3. The presenter mentioned voice-over a call by Zianon Pazniak not to participate in demonstrations of protest.

The politician refuted BT's words in his commentary to Radio Svaboda:

"Venality and lies are in the nature of this boorish anti-national power in Belarus and its lackluster waiting staff. They have been lying to the people and the whole world for 22 years and a half already. Are there still people who believe their television?!"

Pazniak also advocates the rallies against the "tax on parasitism" in Belarusian cities:

"The Belarusians took to the streets and squares with protests, because they were insulted by the filthy word "parasites", and the authorities want to make the unemployed pay them. To those, who was skeptical about the people, look now – what beautiful, open and intelligent people they are, how precisely they formulate their thoughts and protests, what vocabulary, without rude words and insults, they use, what acute indignation they show! But people are not bound up in hatred, they worry about their native Belarus, like that woman in Babruisk, who was crying over the country’s future."

The politician sees in street protests the only opportunity for people to exchange opinions and feel themselves as a strong nation:

"We must protest, take to the squares. And we must not allow our credulous people to be deceived once again by provocateurs or put them under attacks of the bandits, who have seized the power. Therefore, I have two pieces of advice: to be careful, not to succumb to provocations. And the second one: to self-organize into groups of workers and to resist the anti-national policy of the authorities. Only organized people evince a force. The aim of the struggle is free Belarus. This is our country, this is our land. And the third piece of advice: do not believe Lukashenka and his deceitful TV, neither the Minsk TV, nor the Moscow one. Trust your feeling of The Truth," – Zianon Pazniak said.
