Blogger Maxim Philippovich: I Have Never Seen Such Red-Hot People’s Rage

The blogger came from Homel to support a protest action in Pinsk.

Over 1 000 people came out to hold a protest action in the Lenin Square in Pinsk today. The website Charter97.org provided live text coverage of the event.

“I have never seen such red-hot people’s rage, in no city, at no other action! The people are great. They managed to self-organize. This was in other cities, too.

However, here the people’s protest reached culmination. The people are sick and tired of all this, and they are not afraid speaking about it,” – Maxim Philippovich has noted.

The participants of the demonstration and the journalists say that over 1 000 people came to the square – “like in Maladzechna yesterday”.

“The regime and Lukashenka personally are afraid of the people. It’s time to pursue political demands, time to change the state power. Everyone is sick of Lukashenka. The people are strating to realize that. I hope that hudreds of thousands people will come to the rally on March 25 in Minsk and we will set an ultimatum before the authorities, in a peaceful and civilized way.”
