According to the information provided by human rights defenders, over 50 people were detained across Belarus yesterday.

Some of them were released in several hours, but the charges were brought against the majority of the detained. The policemen without the identification signs detained people, using brutal physical force and even the tear gas, the website spring96.org informs.

11 people were transported to the Pershamaiski district of Minsk.

Judges Yury Harbatouski and Sviatlana Charapovich made sentences.

All the detainees stood trials over Articles 17.1 and 23.34 of the Administrative Code.

Siarhei Makoits was sentenced to 15 days of detention by Judge Harbatouski. Riot policemen Pavel Batun and Ihar Antanovich “witnesses” in court. They weren’t even sent out of the court hall during the consideration of the case.

Lizaveta Prakopchyk got 13 days of detention (Judge Harbatouski).

Sviatlana Seraokaya got 14 days of detention. Riot policemen Pavel Batun and Andrei Astapovich testified in court as witnesses.

Yauhen Dzeviatkouski was sentenced to 15 days of detention by Judge Sviatlana Charapovich. Riot policemen Kanstantsin Redzko and Siarhei Maskaliou witnessed at the trial.

Arsenii Kanapliou was sentenced to 13 days of detention. The same two riot policemen gave evidence in court as witnesses.

Maryna Dubina was found guilty under Articles 17.1 and 23.34 of the Administrative Code and sentenced to 14 days of detention by Judge Harbatouski.

Aksana Maliukova was detained for 13 days. Riot policemen Kanstantsin Redzko and Siarhei Maskaliou witnessed again.

Aleh Vorsa got 12 days of detention.

Vasil Aucharenka was sentenced to 14 days of detention by Judge Ala Yashchanka.

Maxim Kurtsou got 12 days of detention.

In the Central district court of Minsk, the following judges made sentences against the detained protesters: Victoryja Shabunia, Aliaksandr Dluzhneuski, Mikhail Khoma, Natallia Vaitsekhovich, Tatsiana Rak.

The judges convict the detainess to administrative detention. Alena Nemik was sentenced to 13 days of detention by Judge Yulia Hustyr. Artsiom Markin got 12 days of detention, Artsiom Salavei – 14 days, Pavel Markov – 15 days.

It was found out in court that Markov is a Russian citizen who came to Minsk as a tourist. According to him, he didn’t participate in the action but was detained by the riot policemen when they dragged everyone out of the trolley-bus. Markov announced a hunger-strike as a protest against the sentence.

Alena Dubovik was sentenced to 12 days of detention (Judge Valer Yesman), she announced a hunger-strike. The press-center of the Central district court reported the other sentences: Belanohau – 14 days of detention, Lidziya Veryha – 12, Kuznetsou – 12, Naumovich – 12, Audzeyenka – 12 days of detention.

Heavily beaten Andrei Navakouski was sentenced to 12 days of detention.

Judge Mikhail Khoma sentenced Dzmitry Mitrasheuski to 15 days of detention. Uladzislau Lobau, the brother of the former political prisoner Eduard Lobau, was sentenced to 15 days of detention by Judge Yulia Hustyr.

The last activist whose sentence was made today in the Central district court is blogger Piotr Markelau. Judge Natallia Vaitsekhovich sentenced him to 12 days of detention.

14 people were transported to the Savetski district court of Minsk.

Aliaksandr Skurydzin was punished with 12 days of detention by Judge Natallia Drachova.Illia Miranenka was threatened with a criminal case under Article 339 of the Criminal Code, allegedly for beating a policeman. The court sentenced the guy to 14 days of detention, he announced a hunger-strike.

V.Parmon was punished with 3 days of detention under two Articles – 23.34 and 23.4 – of the Administrative Code. His case was considered by M.Fiodarava.

The information about the new sentences in Minsk appeared: Yury Pishchelin – 12 days of detention, Uladzimir Laryvonau (judge Valer Yesman) – 12, Nastassia Ranko (Judge Tatsiana Rak) – 12 days of detention.

In Mahiliou, Kanstantsin Charnou, whose both arms had been fractured at the moment of detention, was punished with a fine for 20 base fees (Bn 460), Radio Liberty reports.

The activist from Bialynichy Aleh Miatselitsa was also convicted in Mahiliou today, he got 12 days of detention. Aliaksandr Tsaruk was fined for 25 base fees (Bn 575). Unemployed from Mahiliou Ihar Chyrok got 15 days of detention. 62-year-old pensioner, liquidator of the consequences of the Chernobyl catastrophe Aliaksandr Nazhenka was officially warned by Judge Victoryja Paliakova.

In Hrodna, the UCP activist Aliaksandr Arsentsyeu was sentenced to 13 days of detention. Aliaksandr Laurenyeu was sentenced to 15 days of detention.
