UCP Activist: I Rely On Statkevich

On March 25, the maximum number of disgruntled Belarusians must take to the Square in Minsk.

Activist of the United Civil Party (UCP) Yahor Viniatski has said that to Radio Svaboda:

"Before the first "March of Non-Parasites" in Minsk, there were speculations that very few people would come out. The number of protesters was a big surprise. Therefore, it is difficult to make a shrewd guess at how many people will take to the streets on March 25. At the same time, the regions have knocked socks off – there are really good fellows there."

Viniatski takes a favourable view of the fact, that the rally on March 25 will be led by Mikalai Statkevich, who has already agreed to this. The activist has told reporters that he hopes the rally under the leadership of Mikalai Statkevich will be massive and successful.
