Belarus Becomes Largest Transportation Gateway For Sanction Products

It has been stated by head of the RF Ministry of Agriculture Alexander Tkachev.

Head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia Alexander Tkachev says that since 2014, Belarus has become the largest transportation gateway for sanction products, gazeta.ru writes.

"Belarus has taken the advantage of the free trade zone on the territory of the Eurasian Union and in a short time became the largest transportation gateway for sanction products to Russia, having occupied more than 15% of the Russian import market, while in 2012 the share of such products from Belarus did not exceed 1%," – Tkachev said.

Earlier Lukashenka stated that the country did not paste new stickers on sanction products.

He also stressed that Russia had not consulted with Belarus, when imposing the embargo.
