Lukashenka Dismissed Chief Communications Officer Of Armed Forces

Henadz Kazakou was appointed head of the communications department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces in 2005.

Henadz Kazakou has been dismissed from the post of chief of communications of the Armed Forces – chief of the communications department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. The relevant decree was signed by Lukashenka on April 17, tut.by reports with reference to the dictator's press service.

By his decree, the Belarusian ruler also appointed Henadz Kazakou the director of OJSC "Ahat – Control Systems" – the managing company of the holding "Geoinformational Control Systems".

Little is known about Henadz Kazakou. He was born on January 4, 1964 in the village of Siamukachy, Mahiliou district. In 1985 he graduated with honors from the Ulyanovsk Higher Military Command School of Communications. From 1985 to 1998 he served in various posts in the 86th communication brigade. From 1998 to 2000 he was a student of the Military Academy of Belarus, which he graduated from with honors. In 2005 he was appointed chief of communications of the Armed Forces – head of the communications department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus.
