Brest Dwellers "Congratulate" Lenin On His Birthday

Unknown people poured red paint on the pedestal of the monument to Lenin in Brest.

In particular, the inscription "Lenin", written in Russian, is half-covered with the paint, Radio Svaboda reports.

It happened one day before the birthday of the "leader of the world proletariat," which is celebrated on April 22 by the fans of communist ideology, who traditionally lay wreaths and flowers under the monument.

Employees of public services are working at the site of the incident, cleaning the paint, as well as representatives of the Investigative Committee.
