Viachaslau Kasinerau: I Achieved My Goal
Viachaslau Kasinerau

The restraint for the political prisoner has been changed from keeping in custody to the non-leave obligation.

Civil activist Viachaslau Kasinerau, just released from the remand prison, has given a comment to Belsat TV.

The restraint for the political prisoner has been changed from keeping in custody to the non-leave obligation. He will stand trial on April 27. Viachaslau Kasinerau has stated the following in his comment:

“It doesn’t matter what the sentence will be, I achieved my goal. I wanted to attract the public attention to certain problems, connected with the police violence, and the impunity of the police, which is the most important. I did it, but I underestimated the cost a little: it turned out bigger than I expected. However, that’s okay. Whatever they might think of, it wouldn’t be something traumatic for me, I think I have had enough experience. I hope I came through this challenge decently. Even if there is prison term or something, this does not scare me.”
