Dictator About Economy: I'm Afraid Even To Say What May Happen

Lukashenka demanded from all Belarusians to "roll up their sleeves".

The dictator stated this today in his "message to the Belarusian people and the national assembly." Сharter97.org broadcast the dictator's speech in the "house of representatives" live.

"According to the results of the year 2016, the gross domestic product decreased by several percent, inflow of investments decreased, tension on the labor market increased. We did not manage to keep the real incomes of the population at the same level, – the head of Belarus, who holds this position for more than 22 years, admitted. – The only way out is to roll up your sleeves, the nation in the mass is to solve vital problems.

After all, the setbacks that have plagued us in recent times are not just a consequence of external factors. There are a lot of them inside.

It is necessary to make up for lost time and reach the set parameters following the results of the first two years of the five-year plan. This year acquires special significance. There will not be another such year – we are at the most dangerous line, which we cannot cross, if retreating. If we do not do even half a step forward, I'm even afraid to say what may happen," – Lukashenka said.
