Release Of Two More Suspects In ‘White Legion’ Case Reported

21 people remain in the list of arrestees.

According to the information provided by the himan rights center “Viasna”, two more suspects in the so-called case on the preparation of “mass riots” were released from the KGB prison.

On March 31, Viachaslau Duksht, the special police officer from Maryina Horka, and Illia Hrek, the deputy head on the ideological issues of the Smarhon borderline squad, were released from the KGB prison.

Important to note, Siarhei Barstok was also released on March 31, and four “Young Front” activists – Raman Vasilieu, Zmitser Kremianetski, Uladzimir Yaromenak and Artsiom Leuchanka were set free on April 1. 21 people remain arrested in the case on the preparation of “mass riots”. It has been reported that 10 of them were presented charges under Part 3 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
