Putin Promised Assistance to Lukashenka on the International Arena

Lukashenka asked the President of Russia to support him in his contacts with leaders of the world powers.

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin promised political support for the Belarusian dictator on international arena and during his contacts with the leaders of the world powers.

It was announced by Aliaksandr Lukashenka by the end of the talks, BelTA informs.

According to the Belarusian dictator, the parties devoted much time to discuss issues on the international agenda. "Especially those issues which affect us, our neighbours, the policy of the European Union. We exchanged opinions on relationships with the US, and the way to build them," Lukashenka said.

"I have, of course, asked Vladimir Vladimirovich not to forget about Belarus when building relations with major states. He is about to have meetings in "big 20". I have been reassured about assistance to us on forums, the way it has been done before," the ruler of Belarus stated.
