Historian Aliaksandr Zimnitski Brought Charges In White Legion Case

A 25-year-old post-graduate student works as a research scientist at the National Historical Museum.
Historian Aliaksandr Zimnitski has been brought charges in the White Legion case. He is accused of "training or other preparation for participation in mass riots, as well as financing or other material support of such activities".
It’s been reported by the detainee’ friends, Euroradio reports.
25-year-old Aliaksandr Zimnitski works as a research scientist at the National Historical Museum, does postgraduate studies at the Republican Institute of Higher Education. The police have found a pneumatic gun during the search, but its storage is not a violation of the law.
Similar accusations were previously filed against 16 other defendants in the case. On April 5, such charges were brought against Viktar Danilau and Andrei Dundukou. 9 out of 29 defendants in the case are currently at large. Siarhei Kulinich from the party Narodnaya Hramada is the last one to be released.
Part 3 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code carries a penalty of 3 years of imprisonment.
