Belarusians Reach the Finals of Eurovision-2017

NaviBand with Гісторыя майго жыцця (Story of My Life) will perform in the finals on May 13.

The second semifinals of Eurovision-2017 ended in Kyiv. Contestants from 18 countries performed there.

The Belarusian NaviBand with Гісторыя майго жыцця performed under No. 14 and, following the results of the voting it reached the final of the song contest. For the first time Belarusian performers presented the song in their native language.

Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Hungary, Israel, Romania, Norway, the Netherlands, Austria got into the final as well.

The semi-final was skipped by representatives of the Big Five (the founders of Eurovision) - Great Britain, France, Spain, Italy and Germany. All of them went to the finals out of the competition, as well as the Ukrainian group O.Torvald (on the rights of the host country).

Thus, participants from Moldova, Azerbaijan, Greece, Sweden, Portugal, Poland, Armenia, Australia, Cyprus, Belgium, Ukraine, Great Britain, Germany will compete for the title of the winner of the song contest , Spain, Italy, France, Bulgaria, Belarus, Croatia, Hungary, Denmark, Israel, Romania, Norway, the Netherlands, Austria are finalists.

"We were able to prove that there is power in the Belarusian language. Whatever was said, we take our own way and we succeed. We do not count on anything in the finals. But we will have fun. We are glad to make so many people happy," Ksyusha and Artsem said at a press conference. The musicians thanked their parents, as well as fans, who supported them with enthusiasm.

The finals will be held on Saturday, May 13. Belarusians will perform under the third number.
