Every Fourth Enterprise of Minsk Is Loss-Making

The number of unprofitable organizations of the capital amounted to 23% of their total number in January-March 2017.

Compared to the same period last year, the number of loss-making organizations decreased from 380 to 348, or by 8.4%. Their cross section is 24.9-22.8%, BDG informs.

According to the main statistical office of Minsk, the net profit of organizations amounted to 1 billion 607.4 million rubles, which is 7.2 times more than in the same period of 2016.

The profit before taxation amounted to 1 billion 860.7 million (4.7 times more than in January-March 2016). The profit from sales increased by 9.3% to 1 billion 241.4 million rubles.

For the first quarter of this year the profitability of sales amounted to 8.6% against 8.3% in January-March 2016, the profitability of sales - 11% against 10.6%.

Revenues from sales of products, goods, works, services of organizations of the country in current prices amounted to 14 billion 430.6 million rubles, or 5.2% more than in January-March 2016.

For the first quarter of 2017 the cost of goods sold, goods, products, services increased by 5.8% to 11 billion 287.2 million rubles.
