Time To Adopt School Schedule To Fit Kolya Revealed

Officeals say that "everybody has heard" Lukashenka's instruction.

An agreed decision on the time of the beginning of classes in Minsk schools can be made by the end of June, Maryna Yurkevich, the head of the pre-school, general secondary and special education department of the Education Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, said to BelTA reporters today.

"We discuss this issue with the parental community, since there are educational institutions that work on both the first and second shifts. Everybody has heard the president's instructions. I think, that board of trustees, parent committees, administrations of institutions and departments of education, sport and tourism will take some agreed decision already at the end of June," – Maryna Yurkevich said.

"A balanced, unified decision will be taken at the level of urban interested structures and republican authorities,"– she noted.

We remind, that Lukashenka instructed to reconsider the working schedule of secondary schools, because his son Kolya doesn't have enough sleep. "We need to change the working schedule of schools, the lessons should start no earlier than 9 a.m.," the dictator said on May 12.
