Outraged Workers Of Minsk Plant Call Their Boss Onto Carpet

The meeting at the Minsk Building Materials Plant is scheduled on May 25 at 15.00.

The employees of the enterprise CJSC "Minsk Building Materials Plant" informed the Charter97.org about it.

"The plant is in a critical situation: since September 2016 it has been shut down and is not able to function yet. Our plant was placed under the rule of a competing enterprise OJSC “Radashkovichy Ceramic Plant”.

As a result, they don’t even think of launching the plant again, the ministry is silent because they carried out the "modernization" and want to hush up this matter. They do not renew the labour contracts of the employees of the enterprise, because the plant is run by the competing enterprise and it is unprofitable for them to help us.

Tomorrow, on May 25, the employees of the enterprise will hold a meeting at 15.00 and invite the so-called "manager" of the plant, that is, the director of the OJSC “Radashkovichy Ceramic Plant”, - the indignant workers said in the letter.
