Drunk Policemen Detained At Wheel By Traffic Police In Stolin District

A Stolin district police department officer was stopped for speeding.

On May 6, a policeman, who was driving the car in a drunken state, was detained in Stolin district. Ministry of Internal Affairs official representative Kanstantsin Shalkevich informed tut.by about it.

"On May 6, the driver was stopped for exceeding the speed limit. When checking documents, the traffic policemen detected signs of alcoholic intoxication. The test showed that the man was in a drunken state," – the Interior Ministry informed.

The man turned to be an employee of the Stolin district police department. At the time of the offense he was on vacation.

Kanstantsin Shalkevich once again stressed that the department leadership and the entire department as a whole occupy a fundamentally strict and unchanging position in respect to employees, who commit defamatory acts – and the Stolin district police department representative, who has been working there since 2000, will be dismissed for driving in a state of intoxication without the right to a pension.

Earlier, the Stolin district police department head was detained for driving a car in a state of intoxication.
