Zmitser Dashkevich: We Are To Bring Back To Life National Flag Athwart Lukashists, Bolsheviks And Russian Nationalists

The matter of symbolism is a matter of choosing between truth and lies.

In a conversation with Radio Svaboda Young Front leader Zmitser Dashkevich told what national symbols mean to him and why it is not worth "casting your pearls before swine".

"Belarus was created under the white-red-white flag. We have achieved what we have under it. The state and the people. And the rest we will gain in the result of hard work.

The matter of symbolism is a matter of choosing between truth and lies. Between the white-red-white flag, which identifies the truth, and the red-green one, which symbolizes the 1995 criminal referendum and the bandit Lukashenka’s regime.

The flow of history cannot be stopped and every Communist must know about this. They claim that the people voted. What people? It was a gangster seizure of power in 1995. Was people’s decision made by beating the MPs? When the Communists, Lukashists and their supporters start lying, they cannot stop.

Christ said: Do not cast pearls before swine. Jesus Christ was not talking about animals. God called "pigs" a certain category of people. Are we to tell Stalinists and cannibals about the flag? They do not perceive common sense.

The contraposition of symbolism was laid down by Lukashenka’s bandit referendum. I do not think that if the flag was given the status of a historical and cultural value, reconciliation would happen immediately. I will never unite with the red-green flag."
