‘Upgraded’ Decree # 3 Submitted To Lukashenka For Consideration

"The proposals on new approaches to the implementation of Decree # 3 were submitted to the Presidential Administration," - tut.by was informed by the Council of Ministers. The terms of the consideration of proposals weren’t reported.

To develop a new concept of the Decree # 3, a special interdepartmental working group was created, which included the heads of many departments, as well as scientists. The group was headed by Deputy Prime Minister Vasil Zharko.

On April 19, Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kabiakou signed an order establishing an interdepartmental working group to draft a new concept of Decree # 3, chaired by Vasil Zharko. Almost three dozen people were included thereof, also many ministers – Minister of Labour and Social Protection Iryna Kastsevich, Minister of Finance Uladzimir Amaryn, Minister of Economy Uladzimir Zinouski, Minister of Education Ihar Karpenka, Minister of Health Care Valer Malashka, Minister of Taxation and Fees Siarhei Nalivaika, Minister of Communication and Informatization Siarhei Papkou, Minister of Transport and Communications Anatol Sivak, and Minister of Housing and Utility Services Aliaksandr Tserakhau.

The group also included deputy chairman Maryjana Schetkina, deputies - Tamara Krasouskaya and Boleslaw Pirshtuk, deputy and others.

The draft decree was planned to be submitted to Lukashenka early in July.
